The survival of Down East Animal Refuge (DEAR) depends on donations from the public to survive. These include donations of time (volunteering), money, and non-cash items such as those listed below. Tax Deductible Donations

Doqn East Animal Refuge has 501(c)(3) status with the Internal Revenue Service. Therefore, donations made payable to DEAR are tax-deductable. If you would like to donate money to the Pitt County Humane Society, then please click here and follow the instructions.

Donate Non-Cash Items to the Shelter

 
A lot of food, towels, medical equipment are needed by the animals at the shelter in addition to love and care. We accept non-cash donations at the shelter, at our meetings, or by contacting any DEAR member.
